Maggots

I don't like either maggots or worms. But if I suppose I'd rather use maggots. Why? Well, they're smaller, come in different colours (can the fish tell?) and you can use them alive as hookbait or dead as groundbait. I still can't handle the feel of them though which is daft for a someone who enjoys fishing. My my round this? Pinch the gloves they give you at petrol stations and keep some stored in your tackle bag. I tried garden gloves but I couldn't get a good grip on them. Also, if your fishing maggots I've heard that little and often is the best way. If anyone has any other tips regarding maggots please post below.
